What do I do If I received the wrong amount of hours or other incorrect information on my Volunteer forms/documents (i.e. Statement of Hours)?

In the case of incorrect/invalid information being posted on the documents and files shared to your MiFile, you must file a Volunteer Appeal Form which is available on your MiAccount page.

I didn't receive my Statement of Hours but I attended my shift(s).

If you haven't receive your Statement of Hours, this could be either because we had an error in our system or you didn't sign-in/out. In any case of you not receiving your Statement of Hours, you are required to fill out our Volunteer Appeal Form. If you did not sign-in/out, you must contact one of the supervisors and/or volunteer coordinators whose contact you were given prior to volunteering and request an Volunteer Alibi Statement (VAS). A VAS is a document that a staff member of MiVolunteer fills out when they know/witnessed a Volunteer was present at their assigned shift. Without the VAS, you cannot receive your SoH if you didn't sign-in/out.
